Thinking about our Saidee Girl,.....can't believe it's been a whole year ago last night we said goodbye to her.

The first Monday in September
We celebrate this day,
In honor of the hard working people
Who live in the USA
Labor Day means the end of a season
The ‘Dog Days of Summer' will soon be gone,
While we anticipate the onset of autumn
We’ll see longer hours between dusk and dawn.
The kids are headed back to school
The baseball season is coming to an end,
Football games are upon us
And winter is just around the bend.
Labor Day consists of fairs or parades
Maybe going on an end of season picnic,
There are those having backyard barbeques
Whatever you choose will sure to be terrific.
We definitely have someone to thank
For the first Labor Day was back in 1882,
Our ancestors and predecessors made it happen
It may not have,…..if they had not pursued.
So everyone enjoy the three day weekend
Get your work and family life back in balance,
For now is the time to get it all done
And enjoy the last days of summer’s fragrance!
