I’m excited for April
I’ll tell you right now,
The buds on the trees
Are covering the boughs.
The first of the month
Is for jokesters we know,
They think they are funny
And sometimes it’s so.
It’s also a month
Where the poets come out,
They show off their talents
Some of the best, no doubt.
April is the beginning
Of the springtime showers,
It’s a time to renew and get ready,....
For May and all her flowers.

ReplyDeleteIt might still be cool and windy outside but I do see the flowers and tree blossoms popping out. I haven't put away my jacket yet. Maybe tomorrow.
